Editorial policy
This is a health-adjacent site. Families act on what they read here, sometimes the same day, sometimes at 2am. These are the rules we hold ourselves to.
Who writes and who reviews
Every article carries a byline, and where a reviewer is named, a review date. We publish a reviewer's name and credentials only when they are real and verifiable. Until named external reviewers are onboarded, articles state that they were written by our editorial team with input from experienced care professionals and checked against published guidance — we will not manufacture a credential to look more authoritative.
Sourcing
- Health and safety claims are checked against WHO, government of India sources, or peer-reviewed guidance, and linked where possible.
- Cost figures are marked indicative until they come from our own provider survey with a visible last-updated date.
- Scheme and benefit information is taken from official government portals, carries a "last verified" date, and never states that a reader is eligible.
- We do not copy competitor pages, rewritten or otherwise, and we do not quote hospitals or clinics by name.
What we never publish
- Diagnoses, treatment plans or dosage instructions — always "talk to your doctor" instead.
- "Cure" claims, miracle language, or fear-based selling.
- Fake reviews, fake ratings, fake user counts, or invented caregiver profiles.
- Undisclosed paid placements. Sponsored or referral relationships are labelled on the page.
How money and editorial stay separate
Advertising appears only on informational pages — never on the matcher, the results page, lead forms or legal pages. Advertisers do not review, approve or see articles before publication, and no advertiser can buy a position in the matcher's output. Referral relationships with care agencies are commercial arrangements and never influence the care level, price band or checklist a family sees.
Corrections and updates
When a material fact changes — a scheme's rules, a price band, a safety recommendation — we update the page, change its date, and note the substance of the change in the article when the correction affects what a reader would do. Small copy edits are not annotated. Material corrections can be requested through the grievance officer.
Review cycle
Safety-critical articles are reviewed at least annually and whenever the underlying official guidance changes. Cost pages are reviewed when survey data is refreshed. Every page shows its most recent update date.
Advertising on this site
Ads are served through Google AdSense and are visually separated from content, with a label. They are disabled on the matcher, results, lead forms and all legal and contact pages. Ad density is capped and no ad is placed where it could be mistaken for a health warning or a call to action.
