Privacy policy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
This policy explains what we collect on bestelderlycare.com, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. The short version: we collect your name, mobile number and city only so that a care advisor can call you back; we never ask for Aadhaar numbers, medical records or diagnosis details; and you can ask us to delete your details at any time.
What we collect
- Callback form data — your name, 10-digit mobile number, city or PIN code, preferred call time, whether you accept WhatsApp, and your consent.
- Matcher answers — stored in your own browser (session storage and the page URL) so the results page can work. They are attached to your callback request only when you submit one, and only as a care level, hours band, city tier and budget band — never as a diagnosis.
- Technical data — pages visited, device and approximate location derived from IP address, used in aggregate to understand which guides are useful.
- Contact and grievance correspondence — if you write to us.
What we never collect
- Aadhaar numbers, passport numbers or other identity document numbers.
- Medical records, prescriptions, reports or diagnosis details.
- Payment card details — this site does not process payments.
Why we collect it
To call you back about a care requirement, to introduce your requirement summary to care agencies when you ask for one, to keep the service secure against spam and abuse, to meet legal obligations, and to improve the content families actually use.
Who we share it with
Care agencies that you have asked to be matched with, and only with your requirement summary — care level, hours, city tier and budget band — not your medical history. Service providers who host this site and process form submissions under contract. Authorities, where disclosure is required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
Callback requests are kept for 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Genuinely resolved grievance correspondence is kept for 3 years for accountability. Aggregate, non-identifying analytics are kept for 14 months.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use a small first-party storage item to remember your text-size preference. Analytics collect usage in aggregate. Google AdSense may set cookies and use identifiers to serve ads; Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google'sAds Settings, and manage many cookies through your browser settings. Ads are never shown on the matcher, the results page, lead forms or this page.
Your choices and rights
- Ask us to delete your callback request — email us with the mobile number you used.
- Ask what we hold about you.
- Withdraw consent for marketing contact at any time; service messages about your own request are not marketing.
- Use this site without submitting a form at all — every guide is readable anonymously.
Children and sensitive data
This service is for adults arranging care. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we ask that you do not send health information about anyone through our forms.
Security
Form submissions are sent over HTTPS, protected by rate limiting, a honeypot field and, where configured, Cloudflare Turnstile verification. Access to submitted data is restricted to staff and contractors who need it to call you back.
Changes
When this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of the page and, for significant changes, note them here.
